POLL RESULTS: Where’s the best spot to lay down the mack?

Last week we asked you, where’s the best spot to lay down the mack? 251 mission babes responded! … and the results revealed a glimpse into the mission dating psyche. Check it.

28% feel most confident and able on our grassy knoll, Dolores Park (aka DP, Sea of Flannel, dolo park, burrito beach). Makes sense! Not only is it easy to cruise, it’s the most economical: no cover, byob, and all ages. It also has a little something for everyone: some flannels, sundresses, stick balancers, homies, and shirtless men.

18% said the Knockout. We all know why.

16% said the Uptown. It’s a charming dive, for drunks with charm.

12% really like rock climbers — I mean the Homestead.

7% want to meet their foodie counterpart over some fancy cappuccinos. <3 Four Barrel.

only 6% go to the Beauty Bar? Seriously? Some of you are lying.

POLL RESULTS: How many OKCupid dates are OK in one week?

Last week we asked you, how many OKCupid dates are OK in one week? In the age of iPhone apps for dating (OKCupid, Grinder, etc) the results didn’t really surprise us. 24% of those who answered would rather leave it up to serendipity and meet your boo in person. The rest of you, well that’s a different story. 5% graze OKC like it’s the farmers market — just to sample and maybe to pick up a snack. 24% of you say 2 dates a week is legit, which means you probably take it seriously. 26% of you are going on 3 dates a week and probably having fun with it: meeting new people and having someone to listen to you. 12% of you are going 4-5 dates a week. I imagine you’re saving some cash by having that date buy drinks and dinners. Folks, I hope you’re not tapping into your savings! 18% of you are masters at multitasking or you’re hooked and can’t seem to find the “one”. Too much of one thing can be unhealthy. Seriously.
